SONOMA, Calif- The Sonoma Stompers have promoted relief pitcher Connor Leedholm to the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association.
“We are so excited for Connor! He truly deserves this promotion and we are excited to follow him and his future career!” General Manager Brett Creamer said.
The Colorado native was in his second season of professional baseball and first with the Sonoma Stompers. He was signed on June 14, 2019 as a free agent.
In 19 innings, Leedholm struck out 17 while posting 3.31 ERA while his blazing fastball reached upwards of 97 MPH.
Leedholm is the eighth Stomper promoted this season since spring training.
