Dear Stompers Nation,
We would like to thank all our fans, families, and friends for a very historic 2022 Stomper season! The 2022 season not only marked the Stompers first year in the California Collegiate League, but also the first summer back to Arnold Field after a two year hiatus. Sonoma County as a whole has shown its continued resiliency through multiple fires and now Covid-19. The Stompers organization is grateful to continue providing family affordable entertainment to those locally and nationally.
This summer, the Stompers have entertained over 11,970 fans over 30 home games at Arnold Field. We have had a total of 18,000 views across our Sonoma Stompers Youtube Channel. We have had special guest appearances from Mayor Jack Ding, Congressman Mike Thompson, and World Series Champion Aaron Miles for ceremonial first pitches. We have also featured local organizations such as Sonoma Little League, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, Sonoma Valley Boys and Girls Club, Sonoma Rotary Club, Sonoma Dance Team, Singers from Transcendence Theater, First Responders Resiliency, Inc and more!
On the field, the Stompers attracted top talent from universities across the country. This season five Stompers (Alex Gouveia, Alex Leopard, Kyle Dickey, Zachary Garcia, Orlando Leon Jr) were selected to the 2022 North-South All-Star game. Two Stompers earned CCL All-League Honors: Alex Gouveia(UC Davis) and Noah Larkin(Cal Poly SLO).
As we close out the 2022 season, thank you again for your support of the Sonoma Stompers! This could not have been done without your support! We will only continue to add more family friendly entertainment and to develop the best players from around the country.
